Well, after the very dark places I’ve been visiting in the last few weeks, I thought it would be nice for a clean, fresh, FUN face lift for my blog! Hopefully with a bit of positive thinking, we can turn this year around and end on a high! So send all your positive thoughts my way! (read: LEAVE ME A COMMENT!)
Meanwhile, I’m totally in love with my new banner, I’m loving creating and
making digital elements! Especially since I’m going to have to pack all my
scrapbooking stuff in the storage for a few weeks!
But I am hoping to get enough planning that once we’re in our new house (no luck on that front just yet, so we’re moving into Sean’s parents house for a few week while his sister and brother in law are overseas) I can whip out a ton of projects.
Speaking of projects, you’ll be excited to hear that I have closed the poll for the FREE PROJECT and the winner is . . . The “Hello” Card! Hooray!
While I was writing up the instructions, I thought about how I really need to have a collection of projects that are only 5 steps, I’m so short of time, that I really want to be able to create something quick and easily!
So I’ve created Project 5 Step! The first project – the very popular “Hello” Card comes in only 5 steps! So Handy! I’m also hoping to create a little digital project using the elements I created for my new banner! How exciting! In an update on our little family, Charlotte has becoming a very big fan of Dora the Explorer – almost over night! She can now name almost all of the characters (including Tico, Benny, Big Red Chicken!) and it is pretty much the only television show she will sit down and watch the whole way through. Matisse is looking forward to an extended sleep over at Gran’s house!
Sean is entering his second last study period, which means he will have his degree completed in November. We’re all very proud of him, and I hope he knows just how proud we all are of him – pretty much a whole degree in 18 months!! Well Done Babe, You are Awesome!!
