Well, I am. The shock of having to move again has settled, and we have begun house hunting. I don't remember it being this difficult before, although we've never really been in the position where we have to move. Rental departments aren't open on Saturday's, very few properties have open for inspections, and you can't apply for anything until you've been inside it. So Hard.
We're planning to just print out a few hundred application forms and fill them in for all the ones we like the look of, hand them all in and keep our fingers crossed. We figure that as long as it's got what we're looking for (3brm, Ducted Heating, dishwasher), is in an area that we like and is within our price range then we don't really care about the floor plan.
The girls will be moving in together, which has them both very excited. Matisse especially doesn't like that she has to slept on her own.
Work is good, lots of overtime being offered, which I'm taking, and also a new commission scheme which is exciting as well. If I make the full targets I could get enough Coles vouchers to buy our groceries for a whole month. Helpful is a bit of an understatment I think!
Matisse is busy getting ready for her dancing competitions, she even has a little solo in the Bee Dance. I can't wait to see her up on that stage! She's also learnt to write her name, and is very keen to learn how to write different letters. I've printed some worksheets out at work and tomorrow we're going to do some together.
Not much to report other then that. Just waiting on time to pass, each pay day brings us a bit closer to being able to live a bit easier.
Will keep you all updated on our house situation.
Thanks for checking in on us!
